The function INVOICE allows us to create invoices and visualize already created invoices; it also allows us to send the invoice to the recipient customer by e-mail. Invoice gives us access to :

  1. Summary table.
  2. A search bar.
  3. An add button
  4. An action part

1. SUMMARY TABLE

It is a table that gives us a visual of the invoices already created in our database. It allows us to have a summary of the content of the invoices already created, namely:

  • An invoice number.
  • Invoice creation date
  • The recipient of the invoice.
  • The contact of the recipient.
  • The total to pay the invoice
  • The invoice status (paid, unpaid, partial payment).

2. A SEARCH BAR

The search bar gives us the possibility to search for an invoice already created in our database.

3. ADD BUTTON

The Add button allows us to create new invoices. Click on the Add button to generate the form to fill in the necessary information to make an invoice.

N.B: The unique character " * " on the fields means it is required to fill those to validate the creation of the invoice.


As shown in the screenshot, you must click the Save button to save the information and finish creating the invoice. After you complete the process, the new invoice is saved in the table of invoices already created in our database.

4. THE ACTION PART

The Action part of the summary table allows us to carry out two different actions.

  • View an invoice

This action allows us to have more details on an already-created invoice.

  • Send the invoice by email

This action allows sending the invoice by email to the client after the invoice has been created. The email is sent to the client's email address, which has already been saved under the client's profile.
